Ryan Garcia's dad is acting way worse than Haneys dad lately. Threatened Eddie H, told Tim Bradley to perform fellatio on him, insulted everyone who predicted a Haney victory (essentially the entire planet) and he is only 4' tall.
Most boxing fans have never even heard Loma's dad speak outside of him giving instructions to his son or Usyk in the corner, let alone try to make himself the centre of attention or act like a 15 y/o street punk like Teo Sr. or clown shoes Bill Haney. He's the epitome of class not a narcissistic attention seeking buffoon Enzo Calzaghe (RIP) talked a lot but that was just his personality. He was just a genuine colourful character and a bit of eccentric and he wasn't putting on an act for the camera. I don't remember Tito's or Morales' dads acting like complete jackasses. Not sure if I've ever seen an interview with Inoue's dad either. He seems to take more of the Papachenko approach. I believe Teofimo Sr. is in his mid 50s now but he acts as mature as someone 1/4 of his age
Roy? Original question: Bill Haney is a megalomaniac IMO and he's the primary reason why I'm glad Devin was humbled so viciously. The **** he had started saying and pushing was insane at this point. Mr. "Devin Haney era" "Floyd never did what Devin has done" etc............His hubris was full stream and I really have no idea why as Haney only fought one elite fighter and he really lost that fight. Regis was a great win (maybe he's a bit old, maybe not but I still ranked Regis very highly) and Kambosos was what he was. But to talk as skullduggerish as he has and his son really ain't did much is nuts. He earned that humbling.
