I was at the Calzaghe V Brewer fight , I don't remember him dropping Joe but then again I was quiet mashed up going into the arena that night .
You are correct, that was the Graham fight! Byron Mitchell was the first boxer to drop Calzaghe This content is protected
What a fail, fail of a massive nature....can't even get the basics right. And with this in mind you are going to give me,the psi force measurements of a boxers power punches and their respective chin measurements . Get back to school son. Millennials.
Oh Boy the Narcissist will make a big deal of this & bring PSI into Reggie Strickland thread! Now to make you feel better...I done this multiple times with boxers (especially 1980s/1990s African American boxers)...I also confuse Matt Damon/Wahlberg....they look a like when the focus is on Strickland in this thread. Brewer-Byron were both good Super-Middleweights who faced Calzaghe...
Respect to Reggie who was tough as hell and skilled in his own way, but I have a hard time ranking guys like him or Marion Wilson on the lists of the greatest chins ever. You can't compare a journeyman fighting prospects in 4 or 6 rounders to guys like Lamotta, Hagler, Gerry Penalosa, Oliver McCall etc. who fought world class competition over and over in 12 round bouts.
Calzaghe fought Charles in 2002 & Byron in 2003 , Joe got dropped for the first time in his career in 2003 .
