How did haye win that fight ? What a robbery.

Just like haye did against Wlad he ran from Valuev all fight.

Personally I don't get why people think this fight was a robbery. I had Haye clearly winning, he clearly out landed Valuev. Valuev was busier but his shots simply weren't landing and while Haye didn't throw much, he was landing at a insanely high percentage.

You are right, but in this match, DH has not been boxing bravely, and has been talking stupidly...

An old shot Holyfield beat Valuev, it wasn't a real surprise when David Haye did it. He out slicked him, and beat him to the punch damn near every round. No way was that a robbery..

How the hell did SNV get the decision over Holyfield? Despite being a punch drunk, 50 year old shot boxer, he won at least 8 rounds to 4.

I remember at the time thinking Haye hadn't quite done enough, though that was partly motivated by the thought that Haye needed to win clearly to get the nod. In hindsight you could make a case, though it was in no way as emphatic as Holyfield's performance, which is pretty pathetic to be honest.

If Haye ran away from Wlad , why was Wlad holding and clinching all night? :smash2::roto2lol::smiley_1140:

Holyfield had no business in the ring at that age. He hadn't the power to pop a grape anymore .

Goes to show just how dreadful the division was back then - Still able to earn pay days at nearly 50. And handled a primer Valeuv much the same way as a 30 year old David Haye.

He ducked Briggs it seems. But he didn't run away from no Wlad. He moved in on Wlad far more times than Wlad moved in on him.
Wlad the big sissy held on every time . Afraid to engage with a little glass jawed 210 pounder.

Was an awful fight with many rounds hard to score since so few punches were thrown. Typical boring Haye fight.
