This was the most awesome fight i've ever seen in my life! More awesome than Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko or Jose Zepeda vs. Ivan Baranchyk! Fitting the event was on 10/9 (a boxing term). i called it. i knew it'd be a repeat of Fight # 2, because Wilder only has one plan: The "one-amazing-punch". Once again, he had no Plan B. Take away his Plan A by staying busy, and it's just a matter of time... because when you're as big and strong as Tyson, you're doing severe damage with that kind of volume! In his prime, even Muhammad Ali couldn't have beaten Fury! He's no wuss though. He got his knock-downs in. Don't worry, Deontay! You can beat anyone in the whole world... except ONE person. So now the Gypsy King has done it all and proven it all. What's left, concentrate on his singing career?
Not even close. Yes it had drama. Yes it bravery (to the point of taking a senseless amount of punishment). Yes it had pain. But it wasn't remotely satisfying in a technical sense, nor was there any upset to make it interesting - it was a reasonably comfortable win for a fighter we all already knew was levels above the other. It's not even the HW fight of the year, I'd far rather rewatch AJ-Usyk.
Was horrified by the damage Wilder took in his last two fights. Personally think he should not have taken the rematch as Fury just is a bad match up for him stylistically
I think so also. Fighting someone else would have been better since the loss is two big knockout losses in a row.. He needs a long rest and then a few tuneups and then Ruiz. that is a good fight to gauge his skills.
