This content is protected Pure heart, and all praise from my side. If all heavyweights were like Derek, boxing lovers would be much more satisfied. List of some of Derek's fights: - Tyson Fury x 3 - Joseph Parker x 2 - Dillian Whyte x 2 - Kubrat Pulev x 2 - Vitali Klitschko - David Haye - Agit Kabayel - Gerald Washington - Robert Helenius and Oleksandr Usyk And now he has to fight Joe Joyce. Someone said: "But Chisora has 13 defeats!". How many other boxers would have been defeated if they had fought this kind of competition? P.S. How many losses would Wilder have against this kind of competition? And it fully deserves its nickname.
If you don't respect him as a fighter? You're following the wrong sport Fringe contender at best, just shy of the top level, but a brave fighter who always tries his best and ducks nobody Wish he was retired if I'm honest If boxing was judged on who you fought, win or lose he would be the clear goat of his era
I would have great respect for him, but he does disrespectful undignified stuff like spitting in Wlad's face, so **** him! He's an unstable petty classless scumbag, who clearly has a death wish.
Del always turns up for a fight. The only times he's been beat completely one sided was by fury and kabayel. Also should have wins over Parker, helenious and Whyte but was completely robbed. Think the Joyce fight should be his last but will probably carry on.
Yeah he also beat the living heck out of his ex girlfriend so it's hard to have respect for him based on that and all the other examples you've given. I respect that he was willing to fight anyone but again he also got alot of big undeserved pay days aswell for being a good loser.
Also beat Sam Sexton x2, Danny Williams, Malik Scott, David Price, Artur Szpilka and Carlos Takam. His resume is absolutely stacked. EDIT: forgot Edmund Gerber as well.
I have a lot of time for Chisora. You name it he's probably been there, seen it and done it. Much respect to him in taking on all comers and he's an honest no bullshitter kinda guy. He's been a great character, given us all many entertaining moments and he'll be sorely missed if this is his last year in boxing.
He's my favourite active heavyweight, I wish it wasn't the case he should really retire but that man clearly just loves to fight. Total warrior.
Fun fights, but he's passed around like a toy to help your career a bit with a name, that's all "Mum said it's my turn on the Chisora!" It's Joyce's turn now
Hes a true warrior and has fought so many good fighters. Gabe Rosado is another fighter who is very similar in this regard
He deserves to have wins over Parker and Helenius, as well as maybe Whyte. He proved me wrong. Back when he was a prospect, I thought he had nothing going for him at all. Turns out he has an absolutely monstrous will, a near-iron chin, and a decently good hook, and that is all he needs.
When Chisora is eventually forced to retire I could see him catching a murder case or getting himself killed unfortunately. The way he behaves in some interviews is alarming his personality changes from chilled to angry an confrontational sometimes for no obvious reason at all and nobody is safe I have seen him turn on Eddie Hearn and a few others you would think he is close with. He has obviously always been an aggressive guy but the CTE has made him much worse.
