One can only hope, I think maidana will end up winning on my card but lose a ud, he needs to ko devon that should be his only goal otherwise he loses.

It is a 10 round fight because both sides agreed to a 10 round fight. They signed contracts.

Plenty of ATG's throughout time have fought MANY 10 round fights. Are you implying we should go through and retroactively only consider fights scheduled for 12 or more rounds as having been real professional bouts? No? Well then shut up. I'm tired of this "it's only 10 rounds!" bull****.

I'm rooting for Maidana here, but damn, it's a 10 round fight. Half of the people here on ESB have had this as an excuse ready to use for well over a month, based on the amount of threads I see and the comments I read on them. Ha, the thought of fans making excuses such as this well before a fight shows how foolish sports fans' mentalities are without, sometimes without their knowing.

 

Lewis had a few 10 rounds fights. Also if I'm not mitakened Ali Frazier II was a 12 round fight when higher profile fights were 15
