Does anyone find Lamon Brewster´s accusations of Robert Helenius ironic?

Lamon Brewster recently retired due to damage to his eyesight. He claimed Robert Helenius illegally wrapped his hands or had something planted in his gloves, causing the damage and his retirement.

Now does anyone find it ironic that he´s making statements like that, after completely dismissing his former opponent´s Wladimir Klitscho´s accusations that Wlad may have been drugged. Also, Wlad didn´t say it was Brewster or his team that did the drugging, but Brewster is directly accusing Helenius.

Now I have to wonder, is there any evidence that points to foul play in Brewster´s fight at all? There was quite a lot in Wlad-Brewster I, including the betting odds swaying tremendously shortly before the fight and how oddly blue Wlad turned. Not saying there was foul play (how would I know for sure either way?) but it seems to me Brewster is a pretty big hypocrite and a crybaby. I remember his saying Wlad got so tired because of all the body shots he landed on him too, but Brewster landed nothing of significance up until Wlad gassed out.
    :patsch

I´ve always had the opinion that Brewster was an idiot and this certainly doesn´t make my opinion of him any better.

As I recall, his retina was damaged after the Liakovich fight, so I'm sure getting battered by Wlad and then again by Helenius didn't help any.

Yeah. I love Lamon, but I can't buy inot his accusations any more than I can Wlad's. Bottom line is he should not have been fighting,

Yeah, he had had some real damage in the Liakhovich fight and the Wlad fight after that and was putting himself at risk. He should have known better.

He feels he was not given a fair hand when him and his team were unable to see Helenius get wrapped.

He should have lissen to doctors and stop fighting.

WTF? healthcare in Europe is very good and he couldn't get a license in the US but it was no problem in Germany?

And that is sad. I certainly don´t think he deserved it, but I still think he´s an idiot.

Is it usually the case that the opposing team gets to watch? Did they specifically ask to watch and get denied? That of course would be dubious.

In Germany it’s easier to get license to fight than in U.S.

Different safety rules. For example Chagaev can’t get license in U.S because his hepatitis, but it’s no problem in Germany.

According to Lamon they were denied entry to Helenius dressing room where he was being wrapped.

It is usual that there is someone from opposing team observing and according to team Brewster they where denied.

everyone who watched that Brewster vs Wlad fight knows something fishy was up. Either he was drugged or he was ill. But his magically disappearing blood samples point to the former. Brewster doesn't deserve that win on his record even though he showed alot of heart in that fight.
