The same. Any top 10 fighter would be able to deal with Wilder's style and poor skills. All they have to do is avoid that telegraphed right hand. If a 41-year-old Zhang with stamina issues can do it, so can anyone else in the top 10, easily. Wilder never beat anyone who was top 10, not even close. His best wins, Stiverne and Ortiz, are maybe top 20. And even then, ancient Ortiz boxed his head off. Ortiz's stamina beat Ortiz before Wilder could land the right hand. Wilder has always been a very poor fighter in terms of skills, technique, balance, mobility, footwork, etc. Anyone and everyone in the top 10 would beat him even on his best day.

    Not likely
My man Fury's resume looking more and more like dog ****

At least he humiliated and beat chisora and whyte easier than others, because that's all he has other than Wlad

The wilder wins have aged terribly now

    Nope.

And Zhang's not even that special, either... Heavy handed, but extremely poor stamina and slow footed (both to the extent that age isn't the only reason).

Realistically, Wilder was only ever fringe top-10 level at absolute best... And even then, it's debatable.

    Ridiculously overhyped.

Yup. Gotta give his management credit, they squeezed the most money possible out of that mediocre fraud, facing the worst opposition possible for as long as possible before the jig was up.

Yup - that and a huge amount of generosity on the part of the WBC for letting it's belt have the **** taken out of it.

And... On some level it's crazy that it was even possible to create the level of hype they achieved with Wilder - it should've been obvious exactly what they were doing, and it was to some of us, but a strong majority "til this day" still believes he was actually legit during that run.

Zhang would always spark Wilder, he`s a far more skilled fighter, Wilder only has one punch and is volnurable to the right hook, southpaw Ortiz hurt Wilder with a right hook counter, Wilder falls off balance and stays on the center line after punching because he puts so much power into his punches, his back foot actually comes off the ground when he punches.

Prime Wilder had insane handspeed, willingness to let his hands go and ability to move around the ring.

It will be a different fight for sure.

    This.

Wilder displayed the same weaknesses against Zhang and Parker as he did against Washington, Spzilka, Duhaupas and Ortiz (who all gave Wilder problems). The difference being is the massive step up in quality from Wilder's former opponents to Parker and Zhang.

It's all very well Wilder being the Prince Patel of HW division and stat padding low level guys but when Wilder stepped in quality of opposition he got exposed.

Do you feel that Wilder's age \ inactivity affected the outcome of these fights? Or would be always have lost to Zhang and Parker, regardless ?

I think he would've lost to those guys regardless. However he'd have a better chance especially against Zhang

Parker being a good boxer can beat him on points and I think Zhang would have always caught him with something early most times

With that said Wilder is clearly not the same fighter anymore
