If Spence fully recovered from his accident, I think Garcia’s style fits perfectly for Spence. Garcia has a very solid resume, even slightly underrated but I can’t see him beating Spence here.
I don't think Garcia can win if he only throws like 400 or 500 punches while Spence throws in the neighborhood of 800.
These 2 are my favorite guys and I would go so far as to say I could see both beating the excellent Terence Crawford. I love Angel Garcia but I don’t think he has the capacity to take DSG to the next level like Derrick James can with the Truth EJ.
This was always going to be a tough fight. Spence is nowhere near the boogeyman PBC tried to promote him as (the Shawn Porter fight showed that, as did Kell Brook before the glass face shattered). That said I expect Spence to win by points. Danny's a tough-chinned, skilled spoiler, but his own inability to step on the gas when necessary will be his undoing, and he'll end up dropping rounds he thinks he won.
