    ...later tonight, actually, in Colombia. He fought just once in the last decade, initially attempting his comeback in 2021 and getting knocked out in 2 rounds by an equally fat old heavyweight named Carlouse Demetrius Welch (yeah, same guy that was iced by Murat Gassiev in 90 seconds in 2022).

    So naturally, taking on a 10-0 (7) countryman like Brayan Santander half his age is an incredible idea. What could go wrong? :shakehead:

    At least he managed to cut from 248 (!!!!!) versus Welch down to a svelte 216¾ lbs for Santander, for whatever that is worth. :nusenuse:

    43.

    And...not to mention having only fought professionaly four minutes in the last ten years, he's campaigning now at HW.

    Dude was a pretty good middleweight. Okay super middleweight. Bad light heavy. Terrible cruiser.

    Maybe he can be Maidana's future comeback opponent, when he also comes back as a heavyweight.

    Used to be a huge fan and felt he got hosed vs Abraham

    Saw him twice in AC

    Never recovered from Pavlik it ruined him

    Sad thing is I felt with his power and Taylor's vulnerability he had a shot

    I saw a pic :confused::eek:

    Him being the same height as me and 250 is absolutely bananas. There's not one muscle on his body..................does this guy not have people around him to stop this?

    Remember him when I was a kid. Me and my dad watched his fight against Kelly Pavlik. Two power punching sluggers. It was pretty much kill or be killed (in a figurative sense) and winner take all. Pretty much solidified the winner as the man to fight Taylor and the loser to take a seat on the back burner. Pavlik had more skill and landed the shots.

    Miranda went down swinging, Pavlik had to absolutely detach him from cognitive thought to keep him down...............I don't think Miranda was the same after that................Pavlik melted him.............

    It's one of the fights to show a boxing noob on what can be at stake in a boxing ring. Was a violent fight no doubt. I agree with you that the fight may have possibly destroyed Miranda's career. But he gave it his best shot. Nothing for him to be ashamed of.
