Honestly with the Sun backing this to the max, dont think a fight will be as hyped as this since hatton v mayweather.

I predict with confidence that Boxnation will get a million subscribers just for this fight :deal

The most read newspaper in the UK are sponsoring it, the TV channels, the news are hyping it, etc.

Obviosuly after this fight loads will leave Boxnation due to no intrest in Boxing other then this fight, but I rekon loads will forget to cancel or cant be arsed. Leaving Boxnation with at least 200,000+ subscribers, easily passing there 100,000 target (which was rightly laughed at).

This fight has saved boxnation....what are peoples predictions??

I think about 75 thousand if it is promoted badly, double or more if it is done well.

I think it is important during the fight Boxnation promote the fights that they have coming up in the next month, so people realise for the 10 quid they are getting a lot more than just the one fight and might continue with the subscription. This fight will cost Frank a lot of money so he probably needs huge subscription numbers.

EDIT: A million? highly doubt it, the average person probably have worked out Haye isn't as good as he made out, they probably also have only seen Chisora fight Fury on channel 5 so they probably think this is a bad fight.

The fight pays for itself and some. See it as a ppv event with national press coverage. Will do at least 500,000. Low risk high reward for boxnation.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the Hatton vs Castillo fight brought in 500k new subscribers to Setanta. With the hype that is going to surround this fight I can see this bringing in a similar amount.

    75,000?? :-(

Hatton v Mayweather did over a million and that was at 5am with no press backing.

This fight is hyped to the max, has the backing of the leading newspaper in the Uk and is at a reasonable time of about 11pm. Of course it will get close a million

I think if they're sensible they will allow people to sign up for one month only, and not bother with that 'you must cancel you subscription' ****.

Market it as a £9.99 PPV fight, allow people to book it through the sky system and advertise it like **** in the Sun and Sky News. Under those conditions I dot see why this fight won't do very good PPV numbers. It's a fight that will really capture the publics interest.

Lets say 500,000. If even 10% of them keep the channel then it'll be a massive boost for Boxnation.

I can see a major problem with the ordering system being stretched in the hours before the fight. As for buys, 300k to 500k seems reasonable.

Hatton - Mayweather had blanket coverage on sky sports news, which was freeview at the time

This is clearly why BoxNation removed the 6 month minimum subscription period. They need to make it clear what BoxNation is as the general public still don't know.
Few people care about the quality of the boxers. People just saw the scrap in Munich and will watch it out of curiosity.
Remember, Richard Keys has changed his catchphrase from 'put it in there you dirty *****' to 'It's only the same as a round of drinks'

It needs to pay for itself because BN lost £300k on Mayweather vs Cotto.

Even random birds who have zero interest in boxing have been talking about the haye v chisora fight all over the news feed on my facebook. Marketed correctly, this could be enormous!
