hello all, let me start by saying I dont go to a gym, have a trainer and dont plan on boxing in an actual match anytime soon. I'm a basement boxer with a speedbag and heavybag. About 8 months ago I broke my right wrist and couldn't throw a right for quite some time.
Anywhom I'm on the road to getting back in shape and have started hitting the heavy bag again. My problem is general shoulder fatigue and the tendency to drop my hands, I've read on here this could be from being tense in the shoulders before connection point on the punch, I believe I keep my shoulders this way. My question is how do I get my legs to help me keep my hands up without exhausting my shoulders. Any help would be appreciated.

Your legs have nothing to do with keeping your hands up without getting tired. Keep your elbows tight to your body and your whole structure keeps your hands up, if that makes sense. I'm old and I had quadruple by-pass surgery 8 months ago, and i can keep my hands up forever.

Stay loose, do a bit of shadow boxing, skipping, loosening up excersizes. Watch videos of relaxed fighters and try to imitate them.

About the Shoulder fatigue, you have to increase muscle endurance surely? I'm no expert but i think a way to do this is to get a hold of some light weights and do high reps. Thats what i was always told in my old gym.

Its usually to do with where the Head is positioned, above them. Be it bad technique or Posture.
