How will Venum gloves affect Lomachenko's performance?

Loma has a new sponsor in Venum. How do you think the glove switch will affect his punching?

Are they supposedly a punchers glove? I'd need to hold one and see how/where the padding is. Never seen one before. Reyes always made the best punchers mitts when I competed.

Venum is more of a Muay Thai brand so Loma might be tempted to throw a few elbows and knees in clinches

I heard they were made of Valerium, so if you see Crolla falling apart in a million pieca' you know why.

I've never used them so I am curious as well which is why I posed the question.

I'm not a fan personally. Very little support for the wrist. I could definitely see someone injuring themselves with these, especially firing punches full-bore at a skull. Markedly inferior to Everlast, which was always my favorite.

Not that it matters, but their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi's are dogshite as well. They are super soft, but the softer a gi is, the more likely it is to age poorly and to rip early in use. Its counterintuitive, but you want a gi that feels like its more or less made out of sandpaper.

But I also know that Venum has paid premium $'s for high profile athlete brand deals. The brand has outstanding visibility relative to superior products like Hayabusa (again, my opinion). I'm assuming Loma will be getting handsomely for the sore hands he's sure to be sporting after this one.

How much is Loma getting? If its anything less than 20 million, I will protest.

Did Loma used to wear Winning? Would suggest he has fragile hands. So not sure if the switch is a good idea
