Lee McAllister, ex Commonwealth champion at lightweight and light welterweight is fighting Danny Williams at heavyweight on 28th July in Aberdeen.

Who the hell is sanctioning this?? Surely not the BBBoC? McAllister last fought in 2013 at Welterweight. Madness!

Where have you seen this? Surely some sort of mistake?

Nope, not a mistake (well, it is), this fight is actually happening.

It's not BBBofC I don't think, sure it's some other sanctioning body. Mental.

Dont know what to say...Danny is such a lovely bloke, he in my top 10 heavyweights of all time. Ive been lucky enough to meet him a few times and he was nothing but respectful, was with my kids one time and saw big Danny in the shops, he brought the kids sweets, had a laugh with them he just a real man. When he first came on the scene my old man, god bless his soul, told me he was definitely one to watch.

Sad to see him carrying on fighting. He loves boxing and i do understand why he is carrying on i just wish he didn't.

If Fish gets brave, the winner may fight Fury at Windsor Park?

3 weight world champ vs the man that knocked out Mike Tyson. BIBA governing body. Must be a charity exhibition match surely.

Only meet him once, way back in 2005 but he came across the way you mentioned. He was a really lovely guy who spent the night playing with all the kids and chatting to everyone around him. Guy ouced class. I too wish he would retire. In saying that i hope Lee McAllister sees sense and doesnt fight him, natural size difference is massive.

Yes it is true, since Lee has came back into boxing under this BIBA malarky I have not had anything to do with his career. I will still help him in the build up if he needs me but I cannot be part of the BIBA circus in regards to corners etc as I would lose my BBBofC license. Lee knows my thoughts on him wasting his career in BIBA and my brother Matthew and myself have asked him on numerous occasions to come back to the BBBofC but Lee is enjoying being a big fish in a very small pond if I am 100% honest.

Danny Williams fight imo is stupid and dangerous for Lee but he is his own man who listens to nobody so what else can I say except I hope he manages to get the win and doesn't end up hurt.

But i am sure yiy woyld agree ges not a geavtweigh m8. I am sure skill wise he is on a differet level to the guys on that circuit but its dangerous fighting a genuine heavyweight with a good pro background when your traditional fighting weight is half of his. I understand Williams in well past it and should not be fighting but no doubt he will still carry serious power. If both guys go through with it i hope both come out safely.
