Rumor fight: Berlanga vs Jacobs, the day before the Puerto Rican Day Parade

Proper fight to see if Berlanga is legit.

 

If Daniel even has a little bit left, Berlanga is gonna get stopped. Daniel holds a significant speed advantage, possible power advantage, chin and durability is also fairly proven.

 

That would be a hell of a fight, but i still think Rosado beat Jacobs so that tells me something. If Jacobs comes fully prepared he has a chance to pull off the upset.

 

Jacobs should have lost to Rosada. He's way past his best and I don't think he has much left.

Jacobs is ripe for the picking; that's why Berlanga is interested. If Jacobs has anything left, he should beat Berlanga.

 

Berlanga via robbery. No way Matchroom risk him losing in his debut fight.

 

Berlanga seems Delusional as do those that buy into his hype. Berlanga is a mediocre prospect being sold as a future Puerto Rican star. Jacobs, if he fights to his potential has a very good chance of getting a ko. He can't afford to keep it even remotely close, because Berlanga is a robbery machine. When promoters try to make a boxer a star, funny score cards are a given, and that has been happening with Berlanga. The problem with Berlanga is, he don't have the greatest chin it seems. In order to get a robbery win you have to make it to the finish line.

 

Jacobs should win but if Berlanga has a crazy performance and KO it would definitely put him on a path for Canelo...

Maybe KO Jacobs, beat Ryder in Fall, 2023, and beat another decent contender in Winter, 2023 setting up Spring, 24 v Canelo.

I'd bet against Berlanga even beating Jacobs but there is a path to Canelo fight if he can execute over next 36 rounds or so

 

If Jacobs shows up as good as he did for Ryder I think he can win this. Inactivity and Father time is his only disadvantage.

 

Jacob's on the way down and burlamga is good but not anything special. Should be 50/50. Wouldn't mind seeing berlanga score a solid ko and become an interesting prospect again

Dude Danny Jacobs has been looking horrible for years now.. this is very winnable for Berlanga

 

Jacobs is a shot fighter. I think he'd lose.

 

I favor Jacobs to be honest, if he has anything left he should beat this hype job pretty easily.

 

Jacobs should win but the way he looked against Ryder.........I wouldn't put it past Berlanga by KO.
