Haney on points, Lopez isn’t as good when he has an opponent who’s not coming towards him and he’s not great at cutting off the ring.

Would be pretty impressive for Haney to make his comeback against Lopez after the beating he took from juiced up Garcia.

Regardless of all their flaws, especially about their personalities, both of these guys have shown willingness to step up. Something Gervonta Davis(who's older and has had a lot more hype and backing) severely lacking.

I've no idea who to pick though. Gun to my head, Haney by close, possibly controversial decision.

I'm stoked to see this. Lopez can be an absolute tool but you have to admit that he's still a gifted fighter when on form and has managed to rise to the occasion when people doubted him. He has a very good resume with great wins, especially at his age. It would be very impressive if Lopez actually beats Haney convincingly without controversy. Perhaps a win over Haney could very well help Teo's case as a future HOFer.

With that being said I think Haney could be a very bad style match up for Teo, who seems to always have a hard time against slick boxers who uses the ring. I could see Haney spoiling his way to a victory in a very dull fight.

Haney by unanimous decision, as usual.

Haneys chin is cracked. He took alot of punishment against Garcia and may not be the same fighter anymore. A fully 100% focused Teo will beat Haney possibly stop him in the later rounds.

Haney outboxes Teo to a UD. But if he comes at Teo like he did against Garcia, then we might see Devin do the arch your back challenge yet again. Still would love to see it tho, it's the only fight left to complete the fights between the original main 4 at 135lbs from 2020-2023

    Lomachenko v Lopez
    Lopez v Kambosos
    Kambosos v Haney
    Haney v Lomachenko
    Lomachenko v Kambosos

Lopez vs Haney the only one missing

Good come back fight for Haney. A new weight, a world class opponent, what a way to come back and I hope it happens because Teo deserves a big fight two. Both were young guns willing to fight the best, both are now world level fighters, with at least Haney verging on p4p.

Waiting for it since Haney went up to super lightweight.

Haney isn't a credible opponent after getting destroyed by Garcia.

Agreed, when trying to pick a winner here it's hard to get past Haney's last fight and how he lost it. I'm surprised they'd put Haney back in with a top opponent so soon after watching him flop around like a fish on the dock against Garcia. Based on this I lean towards Teo probably by TKO around the 7th or 8th especially if Teo forces the action. On the flip side Teo has his faults too and Haney can outbox him and could take a decision ,but he'd be walking a tightrope for 12 rounds trying to hide his recently exposed chin. The odds for this fight should be interesting.

Teo should be the favorite here, and Haney may have his 0 back but I don't look at him as an undefeated fighter anymore. He took a beating against Garcia.
