Sorry, but I'd go with your friend.

It is pretty close though. Strong cases could be made for Armstrong, Arguello, and possibly Mayweather as well. I'd lean toward Armstrong as I personally rate him as the #1 GOAT, and I think 130 was his best weight.

I would rate Henry Armstrong number 1 at Featherweight (126). At Junior Lightweight (130) I would go with Arguello. It's a deep class Chavez, Camacho, Mayweather, etc. I would without a doubt have them in the top 10 and probably top 5 as well.

Sandy Saddler...just kidding. Armstrong or Arguello are fine picks.

I see this as Sandy Saddler v Henry Armstrong

    I'd give props to

    Arguello
    Chavez
    Nelson
    Elorde
    Canzoneri
    Camacho
    Mayweather

    Between Arguello, Chavez & Mayweather.

This was FMJ & AA`s peak weight while JCC got even better after he moved up but he was still a real force at 130, make no mistake about that.

    1.Arguello
    2.Mayweather
3.Chavez (I have JCC above Mayweather at light, but at 130 I think Floyd was more peak and proven than Chavez)
