Some say it's the '84 team.

but for me it's the '76 team with Leonard, the Spinks brothers, and Howard Davis winning all gold medals.

Those are your two choices. At amateur, I'd agree with - particularly considering you had the Russians, Cubans, and Eastern bloc counties at those games, while they weren't at the '84 Olympics. Competition needs to be considered in making these evaluations.

As far as pros, the '84 team produced, overall, guys who had better pro careers. Holyfield and Whitaker's combined accomplishments outweigh those of Leonard and Michael Spinks, and the rest of the '84 team overall did more in the pros.

Tarver, Floyd and someone else good were on the 96 team, the 92 team was pretty solid too

96 Had Tarver, Floyd, Vargas, Reid, Cauthen, Raheem, and Diaz. It was a pretty good team. 92 Had Hoya, Tim Ausin, Byrd, Forrest, Raul Marquez, Griffen, and Larry Donald. This was another good team.

I'd say '76, they won against better competition.

The 84 team is the best I think they produced more quality fighters. However, Sugar Ray and Ali are the greatest Olympic fighters ever.
