It is crazy. He starts a relatively slow rate, then once he kicks it into 2nd, the fight is over. The Martin fight is a perfect example. The 1st 3-4 rounds Tank is just pressuring, not much punch output, then in the 5th he starts throwing hard combos then he Ramps up and bang, over.

Tank's opponents have every reason to be afraid.

If they weren't comfortably overmatched they wouldn't be there.

He needs to stop being the grown man who spends his time scaring kids and get to fighting real men.

Tank is a fun fighter to watch but do you still claim he's the "Face of Boxing"? lol

I rate him and and enjoy his fights but he's long overdue that step up. How you can be in one of the deepest divisions and not have fought at least one other top fighter after all these years is embarrassing.

Like him or not Tank is one of the most dangerous fighters in the world.

The scariest fighters are the ones who've proved they'll fight anybody and beat the best.

    Tank's done neither.

Tank is Wilder of the Light welterweight division.

The moment he steps up, he will find out.

While Tank has taken the path of least resistance for years, I would very much argue that Ryan Garcia (among others) is a top fighter and wasn't overmatched.

Tank can't win, he outboxes and stops Ryan with relative ease because he's a genuine elite fighter, and fans accuse Tank of picking on bums, when in reality, Ryan is an extremely dangerous fighter (as shown when he wiped the floor with Devin Haney), it's just that Tank is even better.

Similar story with Isaac Cruz who is criminally underrated and now a world champion at 140.

Similar story with Mario Barrios (not elite by any means but a decent fighter) who is now a world champion at 147, two weight classes above Tank's natural weight.

Tank fought scrubs earlier in his career yes, his resume could be better yes, but he's been knocking out genuinely dangerous opponents for a while now and no one gives him credit because he makes it look easy.

So you didn't notice that Garcia looked Anorexic on the scales and didn't rehydrate due to the clause?
Don't get me wrong Tank looks the absolute business but if he keeps fighting with a stacked deck we will never see his best work. He is 29 years old.

If he hadn't drained Garcia down to below his natural weight and Garcia's win invalidated by his doping and coming in overweight I'd agree with you. Even if Garcia is a top fighter, he was compromised by coming in at 135.

Another thread where Tank haters attempt to drown out all reason...................

Other than Shakur (who I think actually beats Tank) and Loma (who I said up until about a year or so ago would've beat Tank), there's no one else at LW that has a chance at Tank. Not Zepeda, not Berinchak not Navarrate. And Keyshawn Davis definitely wouldn't.

Other than Shakur who I actually think Tank would fight but his team wants no part of, Tank probably won't lose unless he moves up to 140. Loma is past the stage where he would beat Tank. There's a reason why Tank is so popular among other boxers, not just fans, but his own peers. They recognize what they see.

Tank is a legit threat to any fighters he's faced at 135 and 140. He's not only a big puncher but he's also a calculating boxer who takes his time to figure out his opponents before unleashing those bombs. Not a perfect fighter by any means but a dangerous one nonetheless.
