Been wanting to get an upgrade from my fairly local £30 gloves.

I have a very flexible budget, so I will be up for buying any glove.

Been hearing good things about Cleto Reyes but not sure what an official store to buy from in the UK.

Could anyone provide suggestions for great quality gloves (mainly for sparring/pad work) and post links to UK stores to purchase them.

What is the main difference between "universal training gloves" and "training gloves"

I've heard great things about Winning, but prob not worth it if your a beginner.

I used to use Twins, Fairtex, Windy (for Muay Thai) and they were OK. Used them for boxing when I started and there were OK, but the 16oz were a bit too puffy and big.

I've been using Hayabusa Kenpeki 2.0's for the last 6 months, I love them esp the dual wrist strap for the extra wrist support. I've also heard great things about Cleto's but not for sparring. Heard Grant's and Rivals are decent.

Rival gloves are good, and cheaper than Cleto's.

I have the RSV11 Sparring Gloves and the RB1 bag gloves. Both excellent compared to previous adidas/everlast efforts.

If you want a great pair of boxing gloves then you should get the Fortis boxing gloves. Not only do they offer superb protection for your hands and wrists but they are also very beautiful. I can give anyone on Boxing Forum 24 a 25% discount. Just PM me.

Here's what the gloves look like: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072MBC67X
