Vitali was an inferior front foot fighter to Wlad: popped his shoulder missing small slickster Byrd on the front foot and then quit, was made to miss a lot by a static Kevin. He didn't have the speed or power to trouble Fury, never beat anyone better than Chisora (who was his toughest and most competitive win) and never beat a SHW better than Timo Hoffman.
This would be a very close fight where Fury would probably win, Vitali's style was awkward for anyone but against someone as skilled as Fury that style would not be effective, so I'm giving Fury the win...
Tyson Fury would win on points because Vitali has the better chin. Boxing skills, ring IQ, footwork and even stamina; it's all on Fury's side. It's possible that Fury would look like minced meat after the fight, but he would still outpoint Vitali. The cut factor can happen to both Fury and Vitali. And Fury has a better resume, whatever he is.
I picked Fury, he would do to Vitali what he did to Wlad - make it a boring, extremely low impact fight, disrupting Vitali's rhythm (which was extremely rigid and fairly unimaginative). Vitali was an arm puncher, so power wouldn't be an issue. I would've picked a draw if the option was there. Fury eeks out a SD in a closer fight than the Wlad bore-fest.
