Re. the respective power of Bivol and Benavidez

Benavidez weighed more at 168 than Bivol does at 175 and Bivol is fighting bigger, much bigger or way bigger opponents at 175, whereas, Benavidez was fighting smaller or much smaller opponents at 168 and even at 175 he is or is at worse fighting opponents a pound heavier than him

    Bivol 181 - Pascal 188

    Bivol 184 - Chilemba 189

    Bivol 180 - Agnew 186

    Bivol 183 - Clenelo 178-180

Joe Smith weighed 188 against B-Hop

Zurdo weighed 196 and 204 for LHW fights

    Benavidez 189 - Gvozdyk 190

Benavidez 196 - Morrell weighed 190 against Hot Rod

Benavidez is way bigger than Bivol

And then factor in Beterbiev, Clenelo, Zurdo, Richards, and Salamov have never been stopped. Hell, none of them have even been dropped sans Beterbiev

Pascal has only been stopped x 2 and that was by a prime Kovalev who a terrifying puncher back then and even then Pascal finished on his feet both times after eating absolutely hellacious shots all night

Chilemba has only been stopped x 2, once on an arm injury against Gvozdyk, the other in his last fight when old and past his best and that was up at CW by a KO 90% puncher who weighed at least 15lbs more than him if not a lot more because Chilemba came in 15lbs below the CW limit

Joe Smith has only been legit stopped once, by the savage punching Beterbiev. His other inside the distance loss earlier on in his career was due to suffering a broken jaw

Lyndon Arthur has only been stopped by the big punching Yarde who is much bigger than Bivol and Arthur fought purely to survive vs Bivol

He's not only been fighting bigger or much bigger guys for the most part but a lot of his title defences have come against notoriously iron-jawed or very durable fighters who either don't get stopped or very rarely have been and when they have it's been by murderous punchers or legit KO artists

Bivol is 34 years old. And the AB fights were probably the last fights of his prime. Think it's a gradual decline from here on out.

Canelo(2) would be by far the largest payday, followed by Beterbiev (3) then Benavidez as distant third.

Hopefully they fight. If they want a trilogy it does not have to be 3 fights in a row, which is almost unheard of. We need a new challenger in the mix. This whole thing of they are 1 each they deserve another really is nonsense, because most fighters never even get 1 shot at the title, there are no guarantees in boxing let alone for a trilogy. The fights were good but not that good. If they fight 10 times the fights will all look the same.

I think Beterbiev, Canelo and Benavidez should all fight each other and if one of those fighter comes out on top, then Bivol should fight the winner.

ugghh. I just heard Bivol say that Hearn told him Callum Smith is now WBO mandatory, so that is basically telegraphing that fast eddie will angle to get Smith the fight if the Trilogy does not happen. I think Benavidez will be left out in the cold again. 6 years without being given a title so far and counting.

He can definitely punch, I would class him as a very solid puncher, and his mentality is a big reason for lack of stoppages. I still think Benavidez has heaver punches overall, while Bivol probably have a heavier straight right.

Benavidez might not have stopped his two opponents at 175 but he was the one walking down 2 aggressive power punchers, and you don't do that if you lack pop.
