    I'm saying...

    1 Usyk
    2 Fury
    3 Dubois
    4 Parker
    5 Kabayel
    6 Joshua
    7 Hrgovic
    8 Chisora
    9 Zhang
    10 Ruiz

    3. Parker
    4. Fury
    5. Kabayel
    6. Joshua
    7. Zhang
    8. Hrgovic
    9. Chisora
    10. Itauama

I know Itauama hasn't beaten anyone special but i am giving him the 10th spot just based on ability. The way he got rid of McKean when it took Hrgovic 12 rounds to do the same is extremely impressive.

Perhaps he will be exposed when he faces a big hitter but nonetheless. I can't help but admire a guy who is staying active and fighting who ever he can.

I am counting Fury as retired, and won't rate Hrgovic until he fights again.

It gets real blurry since most of the best guys are coming off of a loss, but...

    Champ: Usyk
    Dubois
    Parker
    Kabayel
    Chisora
    Joshua
    Wardley
    Zhang
    Bakole
    Ajagba
    Huni

    Usyk
    Fury
    Dubois
    Parker
    Joshua
    Kabayel
    Hrgovic
    Ruiz
    Zhang
    Chisora?

Usyk is self evident. Fury…doesn’t have the resume but competed well with Usyk, until further notice is number 2. Dubois arguably above Parker as he beat Joshua. Parker, on a great run of form and has the current resume. Joshua not on great form, but resume speaks for itself. Kabayel great run of form, but can’t put him ahead of Joshua as both Makhmudov and Sanchez were pretty much just top prospects rather than contenders. Then a bit of a drop off tbh - Hrgovic as he has the Zhang win and the Dubois loss has aged OK. Ruiz has some claim, but very inactive. Zhang is almost a gatekeeper now - the best will beat him, but won’t have it easy. Then I guess Chisora, based on current resume?

It’s crazy. A lot of the prior “top guys” were realistically untested prospects - Bakole, Anderson, Sanchez, Makhmudov, Ajagba - good on paper, but essentially untested. Things are finding their level now a bit.

    For a mid 25 match-up.

    1 Usyk
    2 Dubois
    3 Parker
    4 Kabayel
5 Fury (for a fight against Joshua at Wembley, otherwise lower)
    6 Joshua
7 Hrgovic (needs a name win in next 6 months for confidence and marketability)
8 Bakole (full camp - motivated after loss)
9 Zhang (loses but still a puncher's chance to anyone above him. Maybe has 12 months in him)
10 Jalolov/Itauma (Either could edge out Ruiz, Chisora and maybe Wardley, or could go the other way. 18 months from now they could be def. top 10).

I don’t know but for the first time in a long time we have a strong battle tested top 3 contenders. Dubois, Parker and Kabayel have all earned their rankings.
After them the division drops off. Joshua had a good career but doesn’t look like he has much left.

Chisora being a consensus top 10 in 2025!

Who would have seen that coming when he fought Vitali in 2012?

Seriously, that’s pretty awesome, especially given he has never been seen as a premier fighter of the division or a very talented one.

    Side note :

    Zhang vs Ruiz
    Zhang vs Bakole
    Bakole vs Ruiz

    Fury vs DD
    Fury vs Kabayel

    DD vs Parker
    DD vs Kabayel
    Kabayel vs Parker

    Wilder vs Chisora
    Wilder vs Ruiz
    Chisora vs Ruiz

    AJ vs Wilder
    AJ vs Ruiz

    ......

So many fun matchups right now for the division... I feel like heavyweight is pretty healthy at the moment they just need to make the fights happen. Hope at least a third of these can take place.

Why do people keep rating Fury so high ? His last legit win over an actual boxer was in 2022 we're in 2025 now and Fury’s 0-2 in his last 2 fights combined with an awful performance vs an MMA fighter.

Fury does not belong anywhere near the top 5 considering he's supposed to be retired aswell.

    1. Usyk
    2. Dubois
    3. Parker
    4. Kabayel

For me those are the top 4 without question.

The next 3 notables names are all coming off losses so you could rank them in any order.....

    Zhang
    Joshua
    Hrgovic

And then you have the likes of....

    Ajagba
    Chisora
    Wardley

There's not enough talent in the division to name 10 heavyweights that belong in a top 10 ranking, 7 maybe 8
    Usyk
    Dubois
    Parker
    Kaybael
    Joshua
    Hrgovic
    Ajagba
    Wardley

Chisora is ancient and painfully slow , and Zhang proved he's not only ancient but has the absolute worst stamina,
he was gassed after 4 rounds. As for Fury,,, just forget him
