Would Donavon Ruddock have beaten Wilder or AJ?
Quite possibly taking them out with his lethal "Smash ''??

    If he landed flush, yes.

Equally, if Wilder landed his best straight right on Razor, it would be lights out.

AJ had the power to stop Ruddock too, even if it's more likely to take him multiple punches.

I don't think Wilder could have one shot Ruddock.
Neither Weaver, Smith, Tyson, Lewis and Morrison did so.

It's possible, but he really only KOed a few quality fighters with it.

Wilder was limited as hell, but he could one shot KO just about anyone if he landed his best shot flush.

I see your point even though I disagree.
Even when Morrison countered Ruddock with a peach of a left hook, the latter was able to get up.

Ruddock I think is all wrong for those guys, although big Len showed you could jump on him quick. His destruction of Ruddock was perhaps his most impressive performance when looked at in context...

If it landed, yes, but prime for prime, I wouldn’t favour him over either.

I'm not sure one shot would be enough.

AJ got nailed by Wladmir's Hammer right hand and got off the floor to win. He was also plastered by Ruiz and dropped several times before the fight was stopped and he was wide awake at the end. Prime AJ didn't have a granite chin, but his chin clearly was China as he was never taken out with just 1 hit even when facing notable punchers. Hell, even a past his prime AJ still survived multiple knockdowns from Dubois before he was stopped.

As for Wilder, the guy was rocked numerous times by Ortiz in both fights and Fury had to nail him with every but the kitchen sink before stopping him. Parker landed a vicious 6 punch combination on a helpless Wilder in the corner and couldn't drop him. Zhang caught Wilder with a clean sledgehammer shot and despite being off guard, Wilder got to his feet.

I have doubts that Ruddock is taking out prime versions of these guys out with one hit. His power was great, but a little overrated and he KOd few quality heavies in their prime. Smith and Dokes were a little fat and old. Weaver and Tyson went the distance. Morrison wasn't even known for his durability and yet he got off the floor to beat Ruddock.
