As far as I know you can run for a long time at very slow speeds. This would make a 10 mile run time consumeing and pointless. When it comes to building stanaima. The best way to build stanima is by using speed. either by running the whole distance at racing pace or by mixing up speeds in what is known as one of my favrote words "fartlick" < This also makes you think I know more about running than I really do. I also like the fact that I can use the word "fartlick" :D. It means "run-play".
For a boxer a 10k about 6 miles is complety doable. My guess is that Pacquiao as well as most world class boxers can run a mile in under 5 mins. He should be able to run a 10k at 6-7 min/mile pace. That's 42 mins at the most. You can mix up a lot of drills over a 10k.

the TS's shock at 10 miles a day is more of a confession to lethargy than anything else. Ive had 2 heart attacks (genetic) and i still lightly jog on a treadmill around 5 kms a day. Back before my heart ****, when i was competing, i used to do 10 k on the treadmill TWICE a day for 6 weeks before a show, everyday, and still did my combat ji-jit-su twice a week. If Manny COULDNT do 10 miles a day, i would suspect he was some sort of PED like methyltest or halotestin before a fight, because his crap conditioning of not being capable of doing that amount of cardio would have to be compensated.

It's not like he SPRINTS 10 miles a day!

Nobody can run 10 miles. Based on my personal experience, that is just impossible.

Are you a girl or something? I run 1-2 hours at a pace of 5mph except on saturdays, that considered a rest day for half or quarter marathons every sunday.

That excludes push ups and crunches.

Your ass is probably a ton of chewed bubblegum.

I imagine it's more like 5-7 miles with a **** load of crunches but yeah people arn't ******ed for believing that, for example my friends mom is a health nut 47 and she runs 5 miles every day isn't exactly impossible to imagine Pac may run twice as much.

I run 1km a week. No one can run more than 1km in one week. Based on my experience, that is just impossible.

Is this post a joke? I dont usually post but had to on this one. The body is certainly capable of running 10 miles a day..I am a collegiate track runner and run 70 miles a week. I'm sure one of the most conditioned elite pro boxer today is capable of doing 10 miles a dau

Bruce Lee ran 5 miles a day every day all year round. I can believe Pacquiao runs 10 miles a day for 8 weeks.

manny pacquiao does have legendary stamina and loves running. i remember i saw on the news once he was out on a morning run with some cadets while he was training in baguio. the platoon was having trouble keeping up with him. these were young marines in the prime of their lives, who i imagine run quite a few miles everyday, getting their collective asses handed to them by a 30 something part time runner.

BTW there is no advantage to doing 1000 situps a day. Thats just cardio.
I could probably do 1000 situps a day, but I could get the same effect doing 50 situps with a 20 or 40lb weight.

I can't run 5 miles a day. I doubt I could even run 1 mile a day before getting knee problems. I'd stick to biking and swimming for cardio.

I occasionally run 10 miles (about 16 km) without pausing, and I'm not in great shape, so what's special about an athlete doing the same thing every day?
